First mobility in Vinkovci, Croatia - Day 6

Thursday, 20/02: Today, all students and teachers assembled in front the school and departed for the town of Dakovo and the National Lipizzan Stud Farm and breeding facility where they had the chance to admire the skill and beauty of this fine breed...

In the afternoon, the group were taken to the city of Osijek and spend some time shopping and looking around at Portanova, the city's shopping centre and one of Croatia's largest shopping malls...

In the early hours of Friday, 21/02 all national teams exchanged their farewels and their until-we-meet again wishes and the teams of Italy, Greece and Spain departed Vinkovci on their way to catch their flights back to their homelands...

It has been an original and wonderful experience for all students and teachers involved and everyone is looking forward to the second mobility and next country of destination...

First mobility in Vinkovci, Croatia - Day 5

Wednesday, 19/02: Today we were transfered to the biological purification facilites and instalation of Vinkovci...

and after that we took a ride to the village of Bosnjaci in the municipality of Vukovar-Srijem County, in which place we first visited the Forest Museum and then had lunch at a local restaurant...

In the afternoon, from 14:00 to 17:00 we set up a charity workshop

with the participation of the Red Cross and sold items of all kinds to the local community. All profits were then given away to the Red Cross for their worldwide humanitarian charity work...

Later on the same day, all students received certificates for their participation in the 1st mobility to Croatia and in the same evening all teachers who took part in this project were offered a farewell dinner party at the Villa Lenije Hotel...
